The Practice SAT:
This year, the PSAT will be administered on Wednesday, October 11.  It will be FREE for all 9th-11th grade students.

Tenth grade students DO NOT have to register for the test.  It is mandatory for all 10th grade students and the District will automatically register 10th-grade students for the test.

Ninth and 11th grade students MUST register online as Cleveland is paying for the exam.  They must register by 5:00 PM on October 1, 2017.

Here is the link: https://goo.gl/forms/MpxcKxN17uandWpl1

If they register but do not take the test, parents must reimburse the school for the $15 cost (administration fees and unused examination documents)–this is noted on the form students/parents complete online.

Questions should be directed to Ms. Drell in the College Office.

Did You Know?
The Magnet website is chock-full of helpful information. Check it out at corebaby.org. For example:

Does your teen driver need lessons? Or braces, maybe? How about help with college counseling or test prep? Perhaps your home needs a face lift, or you just want to sell it. That’s just a sample of the types of businesses who generously donated to our program in Spring of this year, and without whom CORE would not be the same. You can get more information about all of them on our website in the Resource Guide you can find by clicking HERE. (It can also be found on the Parents dropdown menu.)
Thanks again to all of them:
