Mr. Hayes was born and raised in the San Fernando valley. After high school, he attended Pierce College where he was introduced to his passion for science while lifeguarding for the aquatics center. He transferred to California State University Northridge where he earned his B.S. in Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology. Mr. Hayes is now working on his Masters in science education to perfect his science instruction and help students build valuable skills to approach real world issues that challenge our expansive population. In his spare time, Mr. Hayes swims, cycles, and runs, and hopes to inspire others to stay active and strive for excellence.
